“I had a really nice stay at The Pearl! The vibe here is really chill and it feels really familiar, you just feel at home. They always have really nice volunteers who you can have a chat with, help you and make really nice breakfast! Khalid and Naïma are also really nice and helpful. The rooms, especially the dorms have lots of space and big windows, which is really nice for always having fresh air! The rooftop has the nicest view especially when the sun sets. It‘s also not far away from all the restaurants and the beach so it‘s only a little bit of hill walking. I would recommend The Pearl Surf House if you want to have a simple, relaxing stay and want to try out surfing :)”

“Had a lovely time at this hostel, we were looking for a hostel like this for our entire journey in Morocco and 'accidentally' stumbled upon this one when we needed somewhere to stay and didnt really put any thought into it. The people that work and volunteer there are very friendly, chatty and welcoming. There's a double roof for chilling, yoga and cooking. The entire hostel and room were very clean and airy, I only put 4/5 stars as there was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom but this can't really be helped by the hostel. It is what it is. The location has a beautiful view on Tamraght and the bay but it is pretty much at the top of the village. Maybe a little far to walk with your surfboard if you have one, its about 20 minutes to the beach.”

A huge thank you to Arthur, the volunteer, who prepares an exceptional breakfast every morning: hearty, delicious and always with good products. This is clearly the best way to start the day before going to enjoy the ocean. And what about Naima, the tenant... always with a smile, attentive and full of kindness. It creates a simple and authentic atmosphere that makes the place truly special. The evenings on the rooftop also remain a great memory: card games, discussions, a beautiful view and this relaxed atmosphere that makes all the charm of the place. A perfect place to meet people, relax and enjoy Tamraght. I will come back without hesitation!”
“Fathima the Cook is absolutely amazing — her food is excellent. Yahoub is a young man who welcomes you warmly and makes you feel at home the moment you enter the premises. You can also relax on the rooftop and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Regarding the review left by Jordan Chou: this person was not a guest, but a volunteer who was welcomed by the hostel team, fed, sheltered, and looked after. Unfortunately, he was dismissed because he repeatedly overstepped his role and behaved as though he were in charge. His review should therefore be taken with a large grain of salt. His attitude was arrogant, intrusive, and he often behaved like a self-appointed expert on everything. At times he even tried to “teach” Arabic to people who are native speakers — including the Moroccan manager who was born and raised here. This behaviour clearly shows a lack of boundaries and respect. For that reason, his review carries no real credibility. It reflects the frustration of someone who was asked to leave after repeatedly exceeding his responsibilities, rather than the genuine experience of a guest staying at the hostel.”

“I stayed two nights at the The Pearl and had a great time. The rooms are basic, but like the whole hostel, they were clean and tidy. The common room is cozy and inviting, as are the balcony and the rooftop terrace! The view over Tamraght and out to sea from the rooftop terrace is incredible! The breakfast was perfect, and combined with the room, it was fantastic value for money. The atmosphere and the people were friendly and very pleasant. Overall, highly recommended! The hospitality of Khalid and Noémia makes all the difference. They give you suggestions, help you with anything.
