No. Most guests are total beginners. Coaches start from sand practice — paddling technique, pop-up, balance — and progress to whitewater, then green waves. By day three, most people are riding open faces.
The 2-hour lesson is structured coaching — drills, technique, feedback. The 2-hour supervised free surf is your time in the water with the coach watching and stepping in when needed. Together that's 4 hours of water time per day, 5 days a week.
Three meals a day for 6 days. Breakfast on the rooftop. Picnic lunch packed for the beach. Dinner together at the long table — Moroccan tagines, fresh fish, salads. Vegetarian option available — just let us know at booking.
Yes. The package includes a standard board + leash + 3/2 wetsuit. Bring your own board if you prefer — we have safe storage on site.

Tamraght surfs all year. Winter (Oct–Mar) is prime season — bigger swells and consistent waves. Summer (Apr–Sep) has smaller, beginner-friendly waves and warmer water. Spring and autumn are the sweet spots.
